This book is the cynical social reformer Portia's story. If you've read the previous two books in this series, you'll know that she disapproves of the aristocracy as a matter of principle. So obviously, I thought it would be funny to force her to fall in love with a duke!
I won't give too much away just yet, aside to say that there are shenanigans and twists and turns aplenty in this story. And, because I cannot resist putting an animal character into a book, there is a difficult diva of a cat called M'Lady Whiskers who also causes chaos.
